Getting German Visa Becomes Easier for Iranian Merchants: Envoy

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s ambassador to Berlin said Iranian merchants can easily obtain a visa to visit Germany from now on.

Introduced by Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, the country’s economic activists and merchants can easily get a visa to travel to Germany, Ali Majedi said in a meeting with an Iranian trade delegation in Berlin.

The ambassador also pledged efforts to further facilitate visa requirements and reciprocal visits by the two countries’ business people.

Like other European countries, Germany is eager to rapidly revive trade ties with Iran following the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), a lasting nuclear deal between Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) that took effect on January 16.
