Alireza Mansourian Named Iran's Esteghlal Coach
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Alireza Mansourian has been appointed as new head coach of Esteghlal of Tehran football team on Wednesday.
Former Iran and Esteghlal midfielder has penned a one-year contract with the Iranian popular team.
The financial details of the deal have not been released.
Mansourian replaced Parviz Mazloumi in Esteghlal.
Former Esteghlal players Javad Zarrincheh and Majid Namjoo Motlagh were among the candidates for the post.
Mansourian took charge of Naft Tehran in June 2014 as replacement of Yahya Golmohammadi.
