Iran’s Women Football Moves Up Two Places at FIFA Rankings
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian women football team has moved up two places in the latest FIFA rankings released on Friday.
Iran climbed to 55th position with 1418 points.
It’s while Iran has not played a single international match in the last year.
On the summit, reigning world champion the United States kept its place as the number one women team in the world, followed by Germany, France, England and Australia.
Sixth to tenth places remained unchanged with Sweden, Japan, Brazil, Korea DPR and Canada completing the top 10 best women teams in the world.
The next FIFA Women’s World Ranking will be released on 26 August, 2016.
