Iranian Navy Commander Heads for South Africa to Participate in AAD2016

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari started an official visit to South Africa to participate in a military equipment exhibition in the country.

Heading a high-ranking delegation, Rear Admiral Sayyari left Tehran for Johannesburg on Monday evening at the invitation of his South African counterpart.

Africa Aerospace and Defense (AAD2016) is one of the world's premier Aerospace and Defense exhibition that holds a prominent position within the Aviation and Defense calendar.

This exhibition takes place biannually in September. The first three days of the exhibition are traditionally trade days, followed by two airshow days that are open to the public.

The 8th AAD will again take place at AFB Waterkloof, Centurion in the City of Tshwane, South Africa between September 14 and 18 and will once again bring together various industries from throughout the world so as to showcase the latest technological innovations within this sector, according to the official website of the exhibition.
