Iran Beats USA in Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian national beach soccer team defeated USA 6-2 in its first match at the Beach Soccer Intercontinental Cup.
Mohammadali Mokhtari, Moslem Mesigar, Mostafa Kiani, Seyed Ali Nazem and Mohammad Ahmadzadeh (two goals) scored for the Iranian team.
Team Melli will face Egypt on Wednesday and meet defending champion Russia in Group B in the following day.
The UAE is in Group A along with Tahiti, Brazil and Poland.
The competition is being held at Al Mamzar Stadium in Dubai, the UAE.
