Oil & Gaz Loses to Al Noor at Asian Men's Club League Handball
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Oil & Gaz was defeated against Al Noor of Saudi Arabia 35-26 in the semifinal round of the 19th Asian Men’s Club League Handball on Thursday.
In another semis, El Jaish of Qatar beat its compatriot Lekhwiya 28-20 to book a place in the final match.
Oil & Gaz will face Lakhwiya of Qatar on Saturday in the bronze medal match.
Oil & Gaz was held to a 35-35 draw against Al Jazeera of the UAE in its opening match. The team defeated Al Ahli of Jordan 26-23 and lost to El Jaish 37-28 in group stage.
The competition started on October 29 in Jordan and will run until November 5.
