Iran Beaten by Vietnam at AFC U-19 Women's C'ship 2017 Qualifiers
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian football team lost to Vietnam 2-0 at the AFC U-19 Women's Championship 2017 Qualifiers on Sunday.
Nguyen Thi Nu (51’), Tuyet Ngan (90+2’) scored for the Vietnamese team in Group D.
Iran had already tied 1-1 with India in the group, while Vietnam defeated the Indian team.
Elsewhere, Australia thrashed Jordan 7-1 and topped Group A.
Uzbekistan, Australia and Vietnam joined the top four teams in the 2015 edition of the AFC U-19 Championship — champion Japan, North Korea, South Korea and China — to take part at the AFC U-19 Women’s Championship China 2017.
