Iran’s Rouhani Felicitates Ortega on Reelection as Nicaragua’s President
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in message on Tuesday congratulated Daniel Ortega for his reelection as the president of the Central American state.
President Rouhani expressed the hope that Ortega’s new term would result in further expansion of relations between the two countries.
Rouhani also wished health and success for President Ortega and prosperity for the Nicaraguan nation.
Promotion of ties with Latin American countries has been among the top priorities of the Islamic Republic’s foreign policy over the past couple of years.
