Iran Knows Rivals at Freestyle World Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian national wrestling team has learned its rivals at the 2017 Freestyle World Cup which will be held in Kermanshah, Iran next week.
United World Wrestling has released the draws for pool play at the competition.
The Iranian team has been drawn in Pool B along with Turkey, India and Mongolia.
Pool A features USA, Russia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
The participant teams will wrestle all three rounds of group action on February 16 to determine pool placements.
On February 17, teams will cross over to face their counterpart from the opposite pool in a placement match.
The championship match will be held on Friday.
