Iran Drawn with Thailand in Asian Women's Volleyball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran has been drawn with powerhouse Thailand in the 2017 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship.
Majda Cicic’s team has been pitted against Thailand, Chinese Taipei and Maldives in Pool D of the competition.
The Philippines, Kazakhstan and Hong Kong are in Pool A.
Pool B consists of China, Japan and Australia
South Korea has been drawn with New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Vietnam in Pool C.
The 2017 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship is scheduled to be held in Metro Manila, the Philippines from 9 to 17 August 2017.
