Macron Seen Winning French Election with 59 Pct of Votes in 2nd Round-Cevipof Poll

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Centrist Emmanuel Macron seen winning the May 7 run-off vote against far-right, National Front leader Marine Le Pen, according to a Cevipof/Ipsos/Sopra Steria poll published on the website of Le Monde newspaper.

Macron seen getting 59 percent of votes in the second round versus 41 percent for Le Pen, according to the Cevipof poll, Reuters reported.

The Cevipof poll surveyed 13,742 people and is one of the final, big polls before the May 7 vote.
