13 Saudi Servicemen Killed in Yemeni Army’s Attacks in Najran, Asir (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Yemeni army and Popular Committees, in retaliatory attacks against a coalition led by the Riyadh regime, managed to kill 13 Saudi servicemen in the kingdom’s border regions of Najran and Asir, military sources said.  

Six Saudi military members were killed in an operation mounted by the Yemeni forces in Najran, the Arabic-language al-Masirah television quoted a military sources as saying on Sunday.

During another operation in Alib in Asir Region, seven Saudi servicemen were killed in an ambush, according to the report.  

The following video footage released by the Yemeni army shows how three members of the Saudi military are killed in the ambush.   

 

The attacks by the Yemeni forces were carried out in retaliation for the continued massacre of civilians by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen.

Since March 25, 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former president.

According to Yemen’s Legal Center of Rights and Development, the Saudi campaign has claimed the lives of over 12,000 Yemenis and left more than 20,000 others wounded.
