Julio Velasco: Playing at Azadi Is Very Nice
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Argentina volleyball coach Julio Velasco has enjoyed being back in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
Argentina lost to Iran 3-2 2 (29-27, 25-20, 20-25, 23-25, 15-11) in front of ecstatic fans in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
“For us, it was a nice experience, particularly for me. Playing here is always very nice. I am happy because we were able to play a good match. I think people enjoyed it. They suffered, but they enjoyed it,” Velasco said in the post-match news conference.
“First of all, congratulations to Iran for this victory! For my players, it was very difficult to play at this hall with this audience. "
