Iran’s Zarif Continues Discussions on Mutual, Regional Issues in Norway

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Croatian counterpart Davor Ivo Stier discussed ways to expand bilateral relations as well as the latest regional developments.

During a Tuesday meeting on the sidelines of the Oslo Forum, Zarif and Ivo Stier highlighted the significance of enhanced bilateral ties between Tehran and Zagreb.

The two sides also exchanged views on the latest developments in the region.

The Iranian foreign minister has traveled to Norway to participate in the Oslo Forum, which gathers leading armed conflict mediation practitioners.

On Tuesday afternoon, Zarif held more one-on-one meetings with participating dignitaries of the Oslo Forum.

The Iranian minister conferred with former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan as well as his Bosnian and Kenyan counterparts on the sidelines of the event.

During the meetings, they discussed a range of international and regional issues.

The top Iranian diplomat also sat down with a number of intellectuals and researchers from Europe and the US on Tuesday and reviewed issues pertaining to regional and global developments.
