IRGC Seizes Hundreds of Spying Devices in Tehran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps’ (IRGC’s) intelligence forces managed to capture a big haul of contraband spying devices north of the Iranian capital of Tehran, an informed source announced.

Speaking to the Tasnim News Agency, the unnamed source said the IRGC’s intelligence forces in Tehran seized hundreds of spying devices, including two-way radios and eavesdropping equipment.

The devices were captured from a criminal band that sold them in an organized form, according to the source, who said four members of the band were identified and arrested during the operation to seize the spying equipment.

The source also said the devices had been smuggled into Iran from border areas of the country.
