Iran Beats Belarus at Atlas Basketball Challenge
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran earned its second victory in the third edition of the Atlas Basketball Challenge on Wednesday.
Mehran Hatami’s team, who had already defeated Ukraine in Group A, beat Belarus 84-73.
Iran will play China on Thursday.
Qatar has been drawn in Group B along with Australia, Lithuania and USA.
The six-day championship is played at the Suzhou Sports Center and the Dushu Lake Arena in Suzhou, China.
The Atlas challenge is a warm-up for the FIBA Asia Cup in Lebanon next month and the Word Cup qualifiers in November.
