Iran Coach Peyrovani Satisfied with His Boys at AFC U-23 Championship Qualifier
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran U-23 head coach Amirhossein Peyrovani is satisfied with his boys’ performance after win against Kyrgyzstan in the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship qualification.
The Iranian team defeated host Kyrgyzstan 2-1 on Wednesday in Group A of the tournament in Bishkek.
“The first match is always the hardest. I would like to thank my team. They all did their very best to get the positive result,” Peyrovani said in the post-match news conference.
“During the first half, we scored twice and then concentrated on maintaining our advantage after the break. The national team of Kyrgyz Republic is a good team with a good coach. I hope that in the future we will hear a lot of good news about Kyrgyz football,” he added.
