Iran’s Mardani Wins Bronze Medal at World Taekwondo Grand Prix
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sajjad Mardani of Iran claimed the bronze medal at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix series event.
Mardani shared the third step of the podium with Britain’s Mahama Cho in the men’s over 80kg.
South Korea’s In Kyo-Don beat Russia’s Rafail Aiukaev to secure the gold medal.
A total of 213 athletes from 56 countries, plus one refugee team, are competing across four male and four female Olympic weight categories at the Grand Prix in London from Oct. 20 to 22.
