Iran’s Saeid Mollaei Wins Bronze at IJF Grand Prix

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Saeid Mollaei from Iran claimed a bronze medal at the International Judo Federation (IJF) Grand Prix in The Hague on Saturday.

The Iranian judoka claimed the bronze medal in -81kg weight class after defeating world number one ranked Frank de Wit from the Netherlands.

The gold medal went to Russian Ivan Vorobev who defeated German Dominic Ressel in the final match.

Action in The Hague is due to conclude on Sunday when competition will be held in the women’s under 78kg and over 81kg categories and the men’s under 90kg, under 100kg and over 100kg divisions.

The competition has brought 231 athlete from 43 nations in The Hague, Netherlands.
