Paykan Misses Chance to Move Iran League Top
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Paykan football team lost to Esteghlal Khuzestan and missed a chance to provisionally go top of the Iran Professional League (IPL).
On Friday, Esteghlal Khuzestan defeated visiting team Paykan 1-0 thanks to a goal from Claudir in the 73rd minute.
Furthermore, Sanat Naft earned a late 3-2 victory against Sepahan and Padideh defeated Naft Tehran 3-1 in Mashhad.
The match between Tractor Sazi and Sepidrood was suspended due to the heavy snow.
On Saturday, Zob Ahan will host Foolad, Pars Jonoubi play Persepolis in the week’s most thrilling match, Saipa meet Siahjamegan, Esteghlal host Gostaresh Foolad and Tractor Sazi play Sepidrood.
