Rudaki Foundation to Compose Iran’s World Cup Anthem
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) and Rudaki Foundation for composing a World Cup anthem for Team Melli.
The Iranian national football team has been drawn with Spain, Portugal and Morocco in Group B of the 2018 World Cup.
The MoU was signed by FFIRI General Secretary Mohammad Reza Saket and head of Roudaki Foundation Ali Akbar Safipour.
In a ceremony which will be held in Tehran’s Vahdat Hall before Team Melli’s departure to Russia, the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Shahrdad Rohani, will perform the anthem.
