Iran Wins Persian Beach Soccer Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran successfully retained its Persian Beach Soccer Cup title in Bushehr, south of Iran on Monday.
A hat-trick from Mohammadali Ahmadzadeh and a goal from Moslem Mesigar helped Iran see off a spirited Spain side 4-2 on Monday.
Earlier, Ukraine ensured itself third place after clinching a thrilling 4-3 win against Azerbaijan.
Standings: 1st: Iran, 2nd: Spain, 3rd: Ukraine, 4th: the Azerbaijan Republic

MVP: Mohammad Moradi (IRN), Best Goalkeeper: Dona (ESP), Top Scorers: Mohammadali Ahmadzadeh (IRN), Llorenc Gomez (ESP) and Oleg Zborovskyi (UKR)
The Iranian team won the title in the first edition, defeating the national Italian beach soccer team – nicknamed Gli Azzurri (The Blues) – 4-3 in the final showdown on February 16, 2017.
