Iran’s Women’s 4x400 Relays Wins Silver at Asian Indoor Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian women’s 4x400 Meters Relays seized a silver medal at the eighth edition of the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships on Saturday.
The Iranian team consists of Maryam Mohebbi, Faezeh Nesaei, Elham Kakoli and Hanieh Samari finished in second place with a time of 3:51.39.
Kazakhstan won the gold medal with a time of 3:41.67 and bronze medal went to Turkmenistan who clocked 3:58.81.
The eighth edition of the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships are being held at the Aftab-e Enqelab Sports Complex in Tehran, Iran.
Iranians are competing in the event with 39 athletes.
Competition is due to conclude on Saturday (February 3).
