Iran Downs Iraq at West Asian Women's Handball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran humiliated Iraq 43-8 at the 2nd edition of the AHF West Asian Women’s Handball Championship on Thursday.
The Iranian team will meet Lebanon on Friday.
The competition is being held in Amman, Jordan from Feb. 15 to 21.
The tournament has brought six teams together, namely Jordan, Iran, Qatar, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
Shahid Chamran of Larestan represents Iran in the six-day tournament.
