Fresh Saudi Raids Kill over 28 Civilians in Sa’ada

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – More than 28 civilians were killed and injured on Wednesday after Saudi warplanes struck residential areas in the northwestern Yemeni province of Sa'ada for several times.

On Wednesday, Saudi warplanes continued their relentless military aggression against Yemen in Hafsin area in Sahar district, Sa’ada, killing five citizens and injuring 14 others, according to Saba news agency.

Civilian areas in the districts of al-Anad, al-Azhor, Shuaib, Razih Shabaka, Fara, Kutaf in the same Yemeni province were also separately pounded.

At least nine people were killed and wounded during the raids.

Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for almost three years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.

Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi.

Over 14,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
