Iran Wins Bronze at IBSF Snooker Team World Cup
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran claimed a bronze medal at the International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) Snooker Team World Cup on Friday.
The Iranian due of Amir Sarkhosh and Ehsan Heydarinejad lost to India 3-2 in the competition’s semifinals and finished in third place.
The Indian team produced a spirited performance as it bounced back strongly to thrash arch-rival Pakistan.
The competition took place in Doha, Qatar with 24 participating teams.
