Khooneh be Khooneh into Iran’s Hazfi Cup Final
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Khooneh be Khonneh Mazandaran football team advanced to Iran’s Hazfi Cup final after defeating Esteghlal Khuzestan 3-1 on Friday.
In the match held in Ahvaz’s Ghadir Stadium, Rouhollah Bagheri grabbed a hat trick to fire Khooneh be Khooneh to a 3-1 win over Esteghlal Khuzestan.
Meysam Doraghi scored the only goal of Esteghlal Khuzestan.
The second-tier team will face Esteghlal in the final match, scheduled for May 2 in Khorramshahr.
The Hazfi Cup is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation.
Esteghlal is the most decorated team with six titles.
