US Unable to Beat Iran: President
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani highlighted his administration’s resolve to tackle problems and resist foreign pressure, saying the US could never bring Iran to its knees.
The US and its allied powers will not be able to bring the Iranian nation to its knees, as the Islamic Republic is standing and making progress, Rouhani said in a meeting with administration staff on Sunday.
Today, the assets of certain regional countries, the state-sponsored terrorism exercised by the Zionist regime of Israel, and the world’s biggest economic and military power are all against the Iranian nation, the president said, but stressed that Iran is vigorously standing against pressures.
His comments came against a backdrop of mounting US pressure on Iran and Washington’s attempt to unite its regional allies against the Islamic Republic.
In remarks on April 30, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said the US government is aware of the crushing response it will have to face in case of taking military action against Iran, reiterating that the time of hit and run is over.
