Farzan Ashourzadeh Wins Bronze at Asian Games

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s taekwondo practitioner Farzan Ashourzadeh Fallah claimed a bronze medal in the 2018 Asian Games on Monday.

South Korea’s Kim Tae-hun became the first man to claim Asian Games gold medals in two different weight classes in taekwondo after winning the men’s 58kg event.

The 24-year-old topped the 54kg category in Incheon four years ago.

Niyaz Pulatov, who lost the final 24-6 to Kim, took the silver medal for Uzbekistan.

Iranian Farzan Ashourzadeh Fallah and Japan’s Sergio Suzuki finished with bronze.
