Syrian Forces Make Gains in Hama, Sweida

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Syrian forces carried out operations against dens of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the northern countryside of Hama, inflicting heavy losses on them.

Syrian troops targeted the terrorists on the outskirts of Qalaat al-Madiq area, killing and injuring dozens of them, SANA reported on Tuesday.

Terrorist Mohamed Ziad Abdullah was identified among the dead.

In a separate development, the Syrian air force and artillery targeted Daesh terrorists’ hideouts in Toloul al-Safa area in eastern Badyia in the countryside of Sweida.

Following the air support, the Arab country’s army advanced in al-Jarf al-Sakhri area neighboring Toloul al-Safa, killing or injuring scores of Daesh terrorists.

According to reports, the Syrian army is sending soldiers to three frontline areas which share borders with the last major militant stronghold of Idlib, namely the central province of Hama, the coastal province of Latakia and the southern part of Idlib itself.
