Asian Para Games: Iran Wheelchair Basketball Wins Gold
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran men’s wheelchair basketball team claimed the gold medal in the third edition of the Asian Para Games on Saturday.
Iran beat Japan 68-66 in the final match at the GBK Basketball Hall.
South Korea won the bronze medal, beating China 79-51 in the third place match.
About 3,000 athletes with disabilities from a record 43 countries and territories are taking part in the games that opened in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.
The Asian Para Games will run through October 13.
