TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Israeli forces fire at Palestinian demonstrators during a protest at the northern border of the Gaza Strip, injuring at least 25 people.

Palestinians held a protest gathering in support of the launch of a flotilla titled ‘Freedom Ship 16’ that set sail from the port of Gaza in an attempt to break the Israeli siege on the Strip.

Footage shows Israeli forces firing tear gas at Palestinian protesters who were joining the flotilla, which was organized by Gaza’s National Committee for Breaking the Siege.

Wounded protesters and those suffering from teargas inhalation were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment.

The flotilla sailed to the northern coastal border of the Gaza Strip but was then forced to return to shore by Israeli naval forces.
