Obama Calls Netanyahu after He Complained at Proposed Iran Deal

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - US President Barack Obama called Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday, after the Israeli prime minister slammed a proposed interim deal with Iran over its nuclear program.

The White House gave few details of the content of the call but said Obama brought Netanyahu up to date with world powers' talks with Iran in Geneva, AFP reported.

Israel utterly rejects a mooted world powers deal with Iran aimed at ending a long-running row over its nuclear issue and will not be bound by such an accord, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday.

Speaking as he headed into a meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry, Netanyahu told reporters that Iran had got "the deal of the century".
