TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Pro-Europe protesters in Ukraine on Sunday clashed with police who fired tear gas to keep them back.

Thousands of pro-Europe protesters in Ukraine attempted to storm the government building in the capital of Kiev Sunday, clashing with police who fired tear gas to keep them back.

Protesters tried to break through police ranks surrounding the building, with some throwing stones and hitting officers with the signs they were carrying, as police fought back with batons, AFP reported.
