Iran's Esteghlal to Face Saudi Al Shabab in AFC Champions League
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Saudi football team, Al Shabab, will travel to Tehran to take on Esteghlal in the AFC Champions League group stage with 37 members.
The Saudi Arabian football team is scheduled to face Iran’s Esteghlal on February 25 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
Qatari Al Rayyan and Al Jazeera from the United Arab Emirates(UAE) are the other teams in Group A.
Al Shabab will arrive at the Homa Hotel next Monday.
The match will be played at 19:30 local time on Tuesday.
Esteghlal failed to book a place in the final match of the last season’s Asian Champions League, where the Iranian giant blues lost to FC Seoul of South Korea 4-2 on aggregate.
