President Rouhani Congratulates Brunei on National Day
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a message on Sunday felicitated the Bruneian nation and government on the country's national day.
In his message to Bruneian Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, President Rouhani expressed the hope that bilateral ties between the two muslim countries would further expand.
The Islamic Republic of Iran and Brunei enjoy very good relations and cooperation in international organisations such as the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the United Nations and Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).
Brunei is a sovereign state located on the north coast of the island of Borneo, in Southeast Asia.
