Iran’s Tractor Sazi Held in Doha
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Tractor Sazi of Iran played out a goalless draw with Qatar’s Lekhwia in Group C of the AFC Champions League (ACL).
In the match held in Doha’s Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium on Wednesday evening , the Iranian representative earned a point against Lekhwia.
Sebastian Soria failed to put the host ahead, missing a penalty in the 17th minute.
Tractor Sazi went down to 10 men after the referee showed defender Mohammad Nosrati the second yellow card in the 88th minute.
Tractor Sazi had defeated Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia 1-0 in its first match. The Tabriz-based team will play Al Ain of the UAE on March 18.
