Nasser Nourbakhsh Appointed as Iran’s Greco-Roman Coach
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Nasser Nourbakhsh took the charge of the Iranian Greco-Roman wrestling team until after the World Cup.
The 2014 FILA Greco-Roman World Cup will be held in Tehran, Iran on May 15-16.
Nourbakhsh replaced Mohammad Bana, who stepped down on Thursday.
On Sunday, the Iranian Greco-Roman team came third in the 2014 Asian Wrestling Championship in Astana, Kazakhstan, under the guidance of Bana.
The wrestlers won one gold medal, one silver and three bronzes.
