Bagherzadeh Re-elected as President of Iran Fencing Federation
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Fazlollah Bagherzadeh has been re-elected as the president of Iran’s Fencing Federation on Monday.
In the presidential elections of the fencing federation held at the Iran’s Academy Olympic, Bagherzadeh secured 30 of the 31 votes available and one ballot was deemed invalid.
Bagherzadeh will remain in the post until 2018.
“Don’t blame me since I was the first and only candidate. It shows management in the federation is so difficult,” Bagherzadeh said.
“We are going to get good results in the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea. Iran will take part in the competitions in three weapons,” he added.
