Iran Loses to China at AVC Cup for Women
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was defeated against China in straight sets (25–17, 25–13, 25–22) in the 4th AVC Cup for Women on Sunday.
The match held at the Shenzhen Universiade Center Indoor Stadium in Shenzhen.
Iran has been scheduled to face Vietnam on Monday.
The competition began on September 6 and will finish on September 12 in Shenzhen, China.
Iran is in Pool A along with host China, South Korea and Vietnam.
Pool B consists of Thailand, Japan, Kazakhstan and Chinese Taipei.
The AVC Cup for Women is one important competition of AVC, being held every two years. The tournament this year is also a Qualification Tournament for 2015 World Grand Prix.
