Iran Ups Exports of Gas Condensates by 85%

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian exports of natural gas condensates over the past six months have jumped by 85 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the latest data released by the Iranian Customs Office.

Over the first half of the current Iranian year (March 21 –September 22), Iran has exported 9.233 million tons of natural gas condensate ($6.514 billion) which shows an 84.97 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

According to the report, Iran has exported $1.8 billion worth of liquefied propane, $817 million worth of methanol and $730 million liquefied butane during the six-month period.

Iran also exported 8.553 million tons of petrochemical products (valued at $6.721 billion), which shows a 22 percent increase in value.

China, Iraq, the United Arabic Emirates (UAE), Afghanistan and India were among the top importers of the Iranian non-oil products during the months.
