Iran's Shooter Sareh Javanmardi Claims Gold in Asian Para Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Sareh Javanmardi won the gold medal in the Mixed 50 meter pistol SH1 in the 2014 Asian Para Games underway in Incheon, South Korea on Sunday.
“I am very happy to win the gold medal in the event. I set a new world record as well. I am feeling that my dream has come true,” Javanmardi said.
2014 Asian Para Games have been started on October 18 in Incheon, South Korea, and will last until 24. The games feature around 5,000 athletes competing across 23 sports.
