Iran’s Javanmadri, Male Team Win APC Sports Awards
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sareh Javanmardi and Men's Teams of Iran have been selected to receive the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) Sports Awards 2014.
Iranian shooter Javanmardi was named as the Best Female Athlete 2014 for his outstanding performance at the 2014 Asian Para Games in Incheon, South Korea.
Javanmardi won two gold medals in the Women's P2-10m Air Pistol-SH1 and Mixed 50 meter pistol SH1 in the games.
Iranian Men's Teams was also selected to receive the award as the Best Team Performance male 2014 at the Asian Para Games.
The award will be presented during the APC Gala Dinner and Sports Awards ceremony in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, on December 2.
