Slovenia Beaten by Iran Futsal Team in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian national futsal team beat Slovenia 2-1 on Wednesday in its second friendly match.
Ahmad Esmaeilpour and Farhad Tavakoli scored Iran’s goals in the friendly held at the Tri Lilije Hall in Lasko, Slovenia.
Iran had defeated the European futsal team 4-2 on Tuesday.
Slovenia will stage the UEFA Futsal EURO 2018 final tournament in Ljubljana following a decision by the UEFA Executive Committee in Nyon, Switzerland.
The Iranian team also played two friendly matches against Croatia in early January in Zagreb.
