Sepahan almost Out of Iran Professional League Title Race
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sepahan of Isfahan football team lost to Saba 2-0 in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Saturday.
Hadi Shakouri gave the host a lead in the 60th minute and Jaleddin Alimohammadi made it 2-0 in the injury time.
Elsewhere, Zob Ahana and Gostaresh Foolad played out a goalless draw.
With six weeks remaining, Sepahan is seven points behind Naft Tehran.
Naft is atop of the table with 48 points, one point clear of Tracto Sazi.
