Protesters in London Condemn Saudi-Led Attacks on Yemen
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A large number of Yemeni expatriates and Muslims from other countries along with human rights activists gathered outside the Saudi Embassy in London on Sunday to protest against the Saudi regime's crimes in Yemen.
They held a protest rally in front of Saudi Arabia's embassy in the British capital, in which they condemned Riyadh's criminal acts against Yemeni citizens and called on the international community to stop the crimes.
The protesters also urged the people of Yemen to stand united and resist the aggression against their country.
On March 26, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies began to militarily interfere in Yemen's internal affairs by launching deadly air strikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.
The Saudi-led coalition, including military forces from Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Egypt, Sudan, Bahrain, Morocco, Jordan, and Egypt, has killed hundreds of civilians so far.
