Iran Tops AFC Under-14 Football Festival Group A
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran qualified for the semi-final of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-14 football festival for Central and South Asian region.
Iran was held to a 2-2 against India in Group A on Monday
Ali Tahmasbizadeh’s team will face with Group B second team on Tuesday.
A total of seven teams, namely Tajikistan, Iran, Afghanistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Pakistan have participated in the festival which got underway at the Stiqlol Academy in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.
The festival is focusing on development rather than winning.
All teams will receive a medal and certificate of participation.
