I Have Offers from Iran, Senol Gunes Says

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Former Turkish national football team head coach Senol Gunes said that he has received offers from Iran, Sabah newspaper reported.

“I have received offers from Iran I will go over all the offers this week,” Gunes said.

Gunes has coached abroad before in South Korea but he has also revealed that he is in talks with Istanbul giants Besiktas.

The former Turkish national team head coach is expected to replace Slaven Bilic who took charge West Ham.

The Iranian media speculated that Iranian popular team Esteghlal has negotiated with Gunes.

Gunes led Turkey to third in the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea. The experienced manager is one of the most highly rated managers in Turkish football.
