Iran’s Sabre Team Runner-up in Asian Fencing Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Sabre Team became the runner-up of 2015 Asian Fencing Championships on Tuesday.
In the final match held at the new Singapore Sports Hub’s OCBC Arena Hall 1, Iran lost to South Korea 45/37.
Mojtaba Abedini, Ali Pakdaman, Mohammad Rahbari and Farzad Baher Arasbaran represented Iran in the competition.
In the third-place match, China beat Kazakhstan 45/30.
Iran had finished third in the previous edition which was held in South Korea.
