President Rouhani Congratulates Appointment of New PM of Denmark
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani felicitated Lars Løkke Rasmussen on his appointment as the new prime minister of Denmark.
In a message to his Denmark's prime minister, Rouhani congratulated Rasmussen and hoped for further deepening of friendly bilateral relations between Tehran and Copenhagen.
The Iranian president also expressed the support of Iranian nation and government for the people of Denmark, and wished health and success for the newly-elected president.
Lars Løkke Rasmussen is a Danish politician who has served as Prime Minister of Denmark since June 2015. He was also Prime Minister from April 2009 to October 2011.
